Zephyr's Collectibles - all for sale too......

The Trials of Life by Sir David Attenborough, and signed by him, as a presentation to me (ie with my name).  The book is from a first printing, in 1990, which some collectors would describe as a first edition (see Wikipedia definition).

I believe RM1,250 to be a fair price while Sir David is alive.  I know it's a little distasteful, but the value will shoot up considerably following his death.  Sir David will be 85 in May 2011.

1957 Merdeka Commemorative Plate - make me a reasonable offer above RM350

Large Ginger Jar (stands about 12" tall), beautifully decorated. When bought in Hollywood Road, HK, in the early 1980s I was told by the very reputable dealer, that it was produced in one of the ceramics factories in Eastern Guandong Province, in the 1930s -  Make me an offer, but it is unlikely to go for much less than RM750 :-)

I'm told the plate is a porcelain stem-dish, probably made circa 1880, for export to Europe, with the famille-rose design, with scholar and inscription. I believe that the three top characters may be those of the name of the scholar.  Make me an offer, but it is unlikely to go for less than RM750

Vietnamese vase relatively modern , picked it up on a trip to Ho Chi Min City (old Saigon) in 1993.  RM150

Beautiful Solid Rosewood TV and Video Cabinet, made at one of Hong Kong's most respected Rosewood  furniture factories in the early 1980s, to my specifications.
RM3,500

I do also have a small collection of old Chinese snuff bottles, in a rosewood display cabinet, but cannot take a photo as my digital camera is in for repair. Any prospective local (Kuala Lumpur) buyers are welcome to view at my apartment.  Same with a small pewter keris, old Canon EOS and Minolta cameras and lenses, dolls, Arabic coffee pots large and small, a dozen or so vinyl LP records from the 1960s, and relative bric-a-brac.

By all means leave a message here, but better to email me directly at mikedavies.kl@gmail.com

I can accept payment by PayPal or Western Union for overseas buyers and direct to my local HSBC account for Malaysian buyers.  Local shipment will be Pos Laju (or of course may be personally collected), and overseas via DHL, with all shipment costs payable by the buyer. The article purchased will be shipped immediately cleared payment is received.
